    Hello,

Has anyone attempted to paint those odd, in my opinion silver fenders to black on a Speed Twin? Any recommendations for paint that will stick and actually look decent?

    Thanks chris

    Hi Chris and welcome

I don’t have a Speed Twin but I did successfully paint my bare aluminium air intake covers on a Street Cup/Twin with a light rub down with wet-n-dry and a few coats of Black Hammerite Smooth in a rattle spray can.

Wow, that bike looks ace! I am going to go for it, once the weather is slightly warmer.

Should be easy enough to wrap in vinyl. Can always change back then.

That would have looked nice but sadly I sold the bike earlier this year (2022) and I have regretted it ever since!
