Hi all, I have had my street scrambler for just over 1 year, I had a speed twin for 2 years before that. I'm planning on doing a full service and a few mods on my bike in January so I thought I'd come and see if I could pick up some useful info from the forum.

As you probably already know the Classic twins are comparatively simple bikes and relatively easy to work on. I serviced my first Street Scrambler just before it was stolen last year:mad: and my new 2022 replacement will be coming up for a service in January. Just the usual tappet check, oil &filter and service indicator reset. I've had the timing chain tensioner out on the new one as I thought I could here some camchain noise. The tensioner checked out OK but the noise had gone one reassembly so who knows what caused it.:joy: The fuel line connector always stresses me out as it can be awkward to release, even with an unlocking tool, is made of plastic and looks like it could be broken easily. Not sure if this connector is used on other models.
My mods so far, other than some Triumph accessories, are some LED spotlamps, LED headlamp bulb, progressive fork springs, chain oiler and a home made rear carrier/rack.
