HI guys/girls. Just been getting a 675R as my first bike last month and I've ordered a few parts I want to change. I want to make this bike my own so I hope you like my upgrades... Here is my bike.... I will post some more picture as and when my new parts arrive . Thanks for stopping by..... Sy
So I called the dealer where I got the bike from today. To see if removing the exhaust would void my warranty .The dealer said they wouldn't void it for removing the system . so today's task was to remove the full system including the headers. The headers are being sent to uk race support for modification (decat) and I'm waiting on a Austin racing TI/carbon GP2/R slip on. Here's how I got on... Removed both sides of fairing.
Removed exhaust and other bits of trim. Cat being removed from the headers. Been told it will be worth 2hp. But it's the sound I'm after
Headers and exhaust now removed. Job done now until headers return and all new bits I'm going to weigh the full oem system . Then the oem headers and the Austin's racing can see what the saving is... Rear exhaust 5.8kg Austin can. Headers.
@half ton .cant wait to hear it. I've heard a few 675's with the can on YouTube but it never sounds the same.I've got some more bits to come Evotech tail tidy and some BST carbon wheels Maybe some Giamoto rear race sets and bazz power commander... Can't put the can on just yet as I'm waiting for the headers to return after having the cat taken out....
Headers and slip on done. Just need to replace the fairing then job done . Just fired her up lol Can't believe how loud it is lol
@half ton honestly I'm gonna have to put the baffle in lol.im only running the factory software at the moment until I can take it to get the arrow map. Sounds nuts especially in the garage with the door shut lol...
So I've taken the bike for the arrow race map. Pulls well and defo feels quicker....love the noise of the austins can
@TEZ 217 ..evening. I will post some pictures of the full bike when I've managed to fit both sides of the infill panels. Still need to take pictures of the levers and the tail tidy . Waiting on the Rear sets also...
@half ton . Lol lol It's been along 6 weeks. Sorry for your discomfort lol. Just waiting on my rear sets now and the bike is how I want it...
Bloody brilliant - love that exhaust - it's what biglad would refer to as "a saucy pipe!" HT - keep your tightening trousers to yourself please!
Well I've managed to get the wheels on BST wheels saving Front 2.9kg Rear 4.9kg Really happy with the amount I've saved on the wheels Total saving with the oem exhaust is 12.5kg........
