So I called the dealer where I got the bike from today. To see if removing the exhaust would void my warranty .The dealer said they wouldn't void it for removing the system . so today's task was to remove the full system including the headers.
The headers are being sent to uk race support for modification (decat) and I'm waiting on a Austin racing TI/carbon GP2/R slip on.

    Here's how I got on... image.jpeg
    Removed both sides of fairing.

Removed exhaust and other bits of trim. image.jpeg
Cat being removed from the headers. Been told it will be worth 2hp. But it's the sound I'm after :)

Headers and exhaust now removed. Job done now until headers return and all new bits :) image.jpeg

I'm going to weigh the full oem system . Then the oem headers and the Austin's racing can see what the saving is...

    Rear exhaust 5.8kg
    Austin can.
    Headers.

@half ton .cant wait to hear it. I've heard a few 675's with the can on YouTube but it never sounds the same.I've got some more bits to come :)
Evotech tail tidy and some BST carbon wheels :)
Maybe some Giamoto rear race sets and bazz power commander...

Can't put the can on just yet as I'm waiting for the headers to return after having the cat taken out....

Bloody brilliant - love that exhaust - it's what biglad would refer to as "a saucy pipe!"
HT - keep your tightening trousers to yourself please!:eek:
