May i pick your brains chaps?
I have a Daytona 1000 which as im getting on a bit:( i would like to change the bars & make the bikes riding position more comfy.
Question, Has anyone put T300 series Sprint 900 bars on a Daytona T300 & what did you need.

    Bars- Obviously
clutch & brake hoses- i presume these would be longer on a Sprint 900?
Would these bars foul the fairing?
    Anything else?????
    Cheers guy`s n gals

The only thing I can contribute is that when people have done it to an Aprilia RSV Mille they have had to modify the fairing as the bars did foul just as you suggest. Didn't reply because I have no idea or experience I'm afraid

I haven't done this so can't speak definitively but, as I have a Daytona 750 and a later Sprint Exec. - both in (AFAIK) standard form - I'll take a look and try to take some rough measurements at some point this weekend to guage the likelihood of bar to fairing contact.

I assume that you'll need a Sprint top yoke and bars - unless the Daytona has the drillings for the Trident/Sprint type bars, or, alternatively, you're going to go for an aftermarket yoke and tubular bars?

    Hi Adie,
I`m trying to keep it as "Triumph looking" as possible. To fit "normal tubular" bars to it kinda makes me cringe:).
Yeah Top Yoke may have to be changed but i have two bolt holes in mine so i presumed:rolleyes: they might be for the bars???:). Probably not lol. I think its safe to say these will fowl the fairing, its just by how much?
Thanks very much for offering to take a look at this Adie!!! No rush as this is a winter project.
I also find the foot pegs on these early Daytona`s are too high so i plan on changing those to later Daytona/Sprint foot peg hangers.
    Cheers
