Even frame issues aren't insurmountable but a relief as @Iron said in your case.

Here's a GSXR 750 frame with some repair requirements completed in my workshop, anyone in need give me a pm and we can discuss your needs and best way forward.

Thanks. Not sure I'll ever make an upholsterer but it was great to have a go and try some new stuff out.

Never say never on the side panels. It's a project so when are they ever finished ;)

I'm always in awe of people that tackle stuff like this - and that goes more than double when, like you, they've no previous experience or underlying knowledge/training. The knockback on the bent swinging arm might have been enough for some people to say "sod it - I'm done" but you soldiered on and produced a remarkable, well finished, well sorted and utterly unique machine. Very well done, Sir!

If you're close to TOTAL you must be fairly close to me - within a given radius, I guess (I'm 8 miles west of them) - so a welcome and a cuppa is guaranteed!

    So, what's next? :D

That looks brilliant - and I bet you're very pleased with the paint job

Do you still have the stock dog bones on the rear linkage, or did you upgrade to adjustable ones when you refurbished the linkage bearings?

Well done my friend, I really admire your work, learning all these new skills that will set you up for all sorts of new projects. If you have the patience to learn to weld and sew get yourself a half decent spray gun and master the art of spray painting, there is no doubt that you will master that as well. Really nice post and keep us informed on your next bike. We'll done again, be proud of what you have achieved . Mini.

Bike looks great! I'd be tempted with a number on the tail unit but that's just me.
    I love the paint

Kept the standard when I rebuilt. Handling is good and I need to do more miles and suspension fettling before changing anything more at the moment but never say never

I was temped too but didn't have a number I'm wedded too. I discussed putting my wife's favourite number on there but she said if it broke down that would ruin it for her

If you ever decide you want a set of stainless adjustable dog bones then let me know, I've still got the makings of a couple of sets kicking around from when I had a batch made back in the Triumph Torque days

OK thank you. Do they simply allow you to adjust the ride height or is it more complex?
