Today I visited my parents at their spa. While we were sitting in the coffee house, the world ended again. Therefore, I had the pleasure afterwards with my Honda at least part of the way home to swim.
So far we've just had the heavy rain through the night and sunshine during the day, hope I've not jinxed it!
I stupidly got the BBQ going yesterday. Sorry to all for triggering the rain storm that started after I placed the meat on the grill! It was a silly thing to do, I don't know what I was thinking.
I hope that there haven't been any more serious injuries / fatalities caused by the weather @Markus? I think the press got a few shots of you though.....
@Mrs Visor: Thanks for these photos. I´ve never seen such a "bike" before!!! This would be great for the actual wheather situation!
@beerkat and @capt: I think the local mayor had to use up the 2022 quota for white paint, which is actually for crosswalks and road markings, so that he gets a new paint quota again in 2023 to increase traffic safety. Or the paint had reached its expiration date and therefore had to be used. From my point of view, completely senseless optical decoration of the main road through a small village!
Markers for deceased pedestrians with earphones in and phones in hand ? ........ just wishful thinking !
