So I was recently hit on my motorcycle and the truck fled so I am stuck with trying to repair my motorcycle on my own.

I have been searching around for the parts and am having some trouble. I'm seeking advice on how to go about this repair.

The truck came from behind I turned into them when they were attempting to pass me in an intersection where they ran a stop sign. my headlight and instrument panel absorbed most of the impact and are completely ruined.

The bike is a 2014 triumph Bonneville t100 EFI I have searched for the OEM parts and they are expensive, I am curious if using universal parts will work and I could save some money. and will using these parts are they compatible with the the connectors for the speedometer and tachometer or will there need to be some rewiring.

    thanks.

Where are you based, UK or USA, whatever?
You can always make universal parts fit but probably have to rewire etc. There are places in UK you can get used bits from, depends what you want, and there's always ebay.

Try Pinwall Cycle? It’s a salvage yard, specializing in motorcycles.

There are plenty of options for aftermarket, universal gauges and instrumentation, but it’s going to likely take someone with some automotive or motorcycle electrical experience to install it and make it work. That would be custom work and mean an Indy shop. It’s doable, but finding someone to help you and sort through what you need vs. a lot of electronic features you may not desire.

There are tons of aftermarket headlamps available and this would be the perfect excuse and time to go LED. Isn’t that a 7” headlamp?
