Enjoy the bike, one final thought is that it might be worth putting a few hundred miles on your typical riding in a variety of weathers first, adjusting what you can with screen height, helmet clothing etc. before changing anything major. You may find after adjusting your initial expectations of a totally calm air bubble that it is fine as stock. After a recent trip to Wales in fairly warm weather I was happy for as much airflow as I could get!

I've started riding a Tiger 90 the wind noise up into my helmet is absolutely terrible. Never hadnthat with my vstrom. Did you buy a screen or try the puig upper deflectors? I'm tempted to try the deflectors first but be interested to know if you've tried them or if you found a solution with an aftermarket screen.

I recently bought a new to me tiger 900 and found the original screen to be useless. I went for the Givi as a replacement and couldn't be happier with it. Yes it's big, in fact it's huge. I don't think that really matters much on this style of bike. Performance above style for me.

I have acquired a tiger 900 gt pro and have found the same issue which I didn't have with my v strom. Looking at the front of the v strom the shape of the beak, headlight housing, screen all funnel the wind up and diagonally out over your shoulders. The Tiger seems to have far less protection and the screen is narrow at the top and without the convex v shaping of the v strom screen. The noise I hear in and around the ear area of my helmet is so annoying. It's not a buffeting but just noise. I've tried the fork stem wind deflector. Thinking now of either getting the puig upper wind deflectors and/or the puig touring screen. I find the Givi screen looks huge and the others not nice shapes.

Where is the noise coming from when you wear a full face helmet? Think about it for a minute... That giant hole at the bottom, where your neck is. Wear a neck gaiter. They do wonders for cutting down wind noise.

I was getting a little wind rush, noise, vibration etc on my 22RP. One day I went out on it and didn’t get any wind problems. I hadn’t bought a new screen or anything and found it very strange. It was only when I stopped for a brew that I noticed the screen was right down at the bottom of its adjustment. I must have pushed it down when washing the bike and left it there. It’s stayed there ever since. I’ve around 8-9000 miles on it since this strange revelation. Might be worth trying for those having problems.
