A few weeks ago when i was on the Fife Bikers run up to Glenshee i had noticed a guy taking photos of all the bikes as we were coming up the hill towards the ski centre, he stuck them up on the Fife bikers facebook page, i got in touch with him and asked if he would be interested in doing a photo shoot for me, (he just took up photography seriously during lockdown and only does it as a hobby) we arranged for the 6th June (last Sunday) i met him about 9am and he spent a while taking photos of the bike and some with me riding the bike, i had asked him previously if he would be willing to hang about while i went home and brought the GS up to get a photo shoot of that also (it took me about an hour to get back and collect my GS and bring it up to Glenshee). I'm not a GS fanboy by any means but some great pics there, especially the second one with the Bike passing the lone tree through the S bend.
I hired one when I did a tour of the Rockies in Canada and thought it was really good and when they brought out the 1250 I had a test ride on it, as my wife wasn't on the back I really gave it a good test through the twisties and was amazed at how great it handled and it has loads of torque, I would say better than any bike I'd ridden before, and as my wife occasionally comes as pillion it's great for that too.i suppose if I didn't hire one I would never have bought one!
Great pics and good to see some of you riding, great quality but your own pics posted last week were more interesting and characterful, possibly.
The photo shoot is more concentrated on the bike which is what i wanted, when i take photos of my bike i mostly concentrate on the background views and the bike is secondary

A friend of mine, who used to do semi pro photography, mainly weddings and a few glamour model portfolios, did a shoot with me on the R1 some years ago on some roads in the Peak District. He also used the bike in a studio shoot with a very nice young blonde model. I insisted on being present as an "assistant" of course in case the bike needed to be moved around.
