Hi all, thanks for letting me join the fun. I've always been a Honda guy, from 750F models to Gold Wings then a Valkyrie. I've always had an ear for Triumph triples and an eye for Daytonas. My wife thinks I've sold my last bike, but who knows? I might have a couple more years of riding left in me. We just got a place near some of the best riding in Texas, what we call the Hill Country, specifically three roads known as the Texas Twisted Sisters. I'm so close now that I can make it a regular day ride, so I'm thinking of saddling up again. I look forward to visiting with you all and maybe learning a thing or three about why or why not to look for an oldie but goodie. There's also a great motorcycle museum on that route with all kinds of cool bikes, in Vanderpool, Texas.
Hi Joe, and welcome. I'm a Brit ex-pat living in Oklahoma, I do visit Texas now and again, usually DFW though, but you never know, we might run into each other someday.
Hi and welcome, nice introduction. Let us know when you start your search for a bike and what you eventually decide to buy. Good luck with your search.
A hardy welcome from the giant side of Texas. There are some beautiful areas to ride in the Republic, check out the Big Bend area, about 5-6 hours west of San Antonio. Since you mentioned the Hill Country, There are Triumph dealers in both Austin & San Antonio for you window shopping pleasure.
