Had a fab spin through the breacons with other Welsk Bikers

 

At last, went out for a spin. went to Triumph Leics for a bacon butty to find the butty van man had not turned up so up the A50 to the Vic bikers pub, Bacon butty and a mug of tea. a few stalls and a few bikers kickin about. all in all a good day

yes, at coalville, Thursday night is the best night in the summer. hundreds there when its fine.

I had an early morning run out through Chatsworth Park, but there was bugger all open at that time, ended up once again in Matlock for a coffee surrounded by race reps, until someone turned up on a very smart 400/4 & drew an immediate crowd. Couldn't spend too long out as I had some fencing to replace before the forecast gales appear.

cleaned the bike fitted chrome piping ,fitting the front sprocket tomorrow then a nice run out to try it out

 

No mate, they were all bullshitting among themselves, & they'll be back there today making an early start to get in a full days bullshitting. Yeah, NLM have got some interesting looking stock, I love the old Morini 3 1/2, whether a 40 year old bike is actually worth £6.5k is another matter. It's a while since I've been down there, definitely worth a look.

Just back from another early morning run round the Peak District, once again bugger all open apart from in Matlock Bath, fortunately the usual bullshitters were moving on as I arrived, (must've seen me coming!) I'm just taking me lid off when a purple Street Triple pulls up next to me, the rider a nice old boy of 82!!! Yep still riding, & on a pretty quick bike, at 82 years old - much respect mate. :upyeah:

 

I thought you had bumped into Bry then but his bike isnt purple. Just saying :smile:

 

I did have to nip out to the garage to make sure! It could've been me...

 

Just re-set the suspension to the factory settings. Put the brake, clutch and gear levers where I think is right for me - forgot to take allen key and spanner with me yesterday. Once I get new boots fitted next weekend the bloody thing might not try killing me!

 

It might try harder :wink:

 

Believe me - it wouldn't have to try much harder!
