Had to post a few pictures of Grassington - the big tourist trap (sorry, even bigger tourist trap since they started filming the last series of All Creatures Great and Small here). Now popular with American tourists and the bloody prices show it! So no The Devonshire, which doubles as the Drovers Arms in the series, £40 for two pies and two pints is not a special offer! Those aren't even Winchester prices! This was my evening run over to Settle for some fish and chips - never saw another car in almost an hours ride. Had to stop here to let a herd of sheep go past In the square at Settle - Billy no mates again Ye Olde Naked man cafe - the building dates from 1663 We did do another dog sit in Filey last weekend but I didn't take the bike so no post for that one.
Another beautiful place, Steve! But......."Ye Old Naked Man Cafe"?? That doesn't sound particularly appetizing.
Had a really nice 4 day mini tour up there last week. With some mates, mainly Harley riders. Lovely pint of bitter in the Drovers/Devonshire. They had coned off half of the car park for the coming film crew. Warden very kindly let us park there, 8 bikes.
