Whilst at the North West 200, someone staying at the same B&B who had the same Tiger has me had a Givi Airflow screen fitted to he:s Tiger. I told him my Triumph screen was awful for wind noise. He highly recommended the Givi Airflow. But does it give much more wind protection then my Triumph screen. At a £180 want to see what most people who have a Givi Airflow screen on their

Hi Chris. I am also looking for a replacement for the crappy standard screen. The Airflow is at the top of my list at the moment, with the 6401dt also a possibility so I look forward to hearing from anyone who has experience with these screens.

The subject has been covered quite extensively on the tiger800 forum, some saying the AF's are excellent, some ok but not great and one or two not rating it at all.

I fitted a mini spoiler to the original screen that helps and is an improvement in some conditions so I'm optimistic about the AF screen.

    Mini add on.... 20220429_170012.jpg

That is a good idea never considered a mini spoiler to fit to my exciting Triumph screen. What make did you fit on yours. Look at the MRA sports deflected. Looks like that might do the business with out forking out silly money for a new screen.

I have a givi airflow, don't need it. Would probably sell if you want it. Its not a model specific one. Its the universal one that attaches via 4 points, 2 on the handlebars and 2 on the fork legs. I had it on a Triumph scrambler

This one is a cheapy from China, around £25.
It works in some conditions but if there Is even a slight cross wind it is less effective, and flexes a fair bit at motorway speeds.
I spoke to a chap today who had a tiger800 xca with an air flow fitted. He said he really liked the screen and had it for six years and it was on his previous tiger800. He kept it to fit to his new tiger cos he was so pleased with it.

Think I might try the MRA Creed sports defleter. Think that will just Clamp on my old screen, no drilling holes in the screen. Can not seem to find anyone in the UK that has the Givi Airflow screen. What with covid and Brexit things have been hard to find here in the UK

I had a givi airflow on my 800 when I had it.

Quality screen, very effective at all speeds. Easy to adjust on the fly as well.

I bought and fitted a Givi AF. A couple of hundred miles later and I'm happy with the results.
It's not a perfect bubble of still air behind the screen but it's a huge improvement.
75 mph motorway cruising is a pleasure, and a it's a hell of a lot quieter at all speeds.
