Right, have searched youtube and various sites, cannot find any info in de-baffling the Commander tors.
Simple enough with other models, i did it with my 1600 tbird and also took cat off.
I fitted the tors on my Commander but want more sound than they give, someone help me please.

Am afraid I can't help with this one other than to say you will probably have to look at aftermarket options. As an aside, there is no reason you can't continue one of your 12 previous threads rather than starting a new one for every question you have about Commander exhausts ;)

Ok, so now it seems the cat is built into header pipes, so could they not be replaced with two straight through pipes ?

Still trying to figure out how to get rid of cat.
Apart from the cost, would it be viable to get two new header pipes made ?

I would imagine that's probably your best option but I'm no mechanic so don't know whether it would need some sort of set up or retune if you did. When I removed the cat on my Nightstorm it was just the standard Triumph 12 minute reset, can't see why this would be any different

Yeah, i did it on my 1600 thunderbird and used 12 minute idle tune.
However, Triumph got wise to this and took the option off later models.
Me mate can remap engines so wouldnt be a problem.
