I picked up my 2019 Triumph Tiger 1200 at 8:30 am from the shipper on April 27th. Only reading 1076 miles on the odometer. It was nearly perfect. Got it registered on the 28th. Then May 6th, on my way home from work, a pickup truck pulled out in front of me. Bike is almost certainly totaled. I now have 18 very expensive screws in my left leg and the free use of a knee scooter courtesy of the local chapter of Rider Down SOS. It would have been fun....maybe my next bike will be a Triumph.

Blimey mate - glad your on the mend - the bike can be replaced. Take care and don't go too fast on the knee scooter.

Hello and welcome to the forum, JONeil. So sorry to hear about your accident. What a horrible thing to happen and I hope that the pickup truck driver at least stopped. I hope you mend quickly and that another bike (Triumph or not) is on your horizon.

Holy shit Batman that sucks! Reading what happened to you hits close to home as I'm in Vegas. Channel 5 the local news here has been doing articles about how people have been driving well above the speed limit and just generally not being courteous to the fellow driver. I hope you have a speedy recovery.

Wow, that was such bad luck!! Cliche'd I know but it could have been worse. Great that you're on the mend and STILL wanting a bike... Hope the driver learns from it..
