Some of the threads on this forum appear as nasty spam that I will not click on and open. Am I the only one seeing them or are others as well. If it is dodgy stuff would the administrators be so kind as to delete them. The web is bad enough with dodgy stuff without having to tip toe through the forums.
@xorbe and @Marks, there have been other threads addressing the spam on the forum. Those threads include how to "ignore" the spammer(s) and makes their posts disappear for you as the "ignorer". Also, much of the spam has been removed behind the scenes by our admin, @Havit, who does this work voluntarily and is doing his best to keep up.
It's just spam mate. If you click on their name you get this pop up. Then just press the ignore button. Job done
Unfortunately we suffer from an absent landlord called @Rob who seems to have lost all interest in his forum and does not respond to messages and suggestions. So it's left up to @Havit to soldier on but he does have holidays, sickness etc so he can't do everything all the time.
It seems @Rob logged in 3 days ago!! (after an absence of nearly 3 months) I hope things get back to normal soon.
He was probably greeted with 'you have been mentioned 86000 times' and logged straight back out again
