Rocket rocket

looking to fix front screen on my rocket is it worth doing ..plus new shock to lower the back down ..need to no if it would charge the handling ..

 

Hi chopper, if your looking to lower the rear be sure you lower the front as well. Are you fitting adjustable rear shocks?

 

Any change in ride height should effect the handling.... Maybe for the worse or could be for the better :wink:

why lower the rocket its not exactly a motorcross bike.??? handles well as it is and if you lower it too much you will drastically change the cornering ability... Change the shocks for better quality and pre-load adjustment yes but air on caution with the ride height....

well rode in the moonsoon season last night .got bloody wet .gear still wet rocket handled fantastic.

 

well here comes the bank holiday am working and it,s given bloody rain out ....

 

Typical weather... Sat 7 Sunday are meant to be the best days...down South..

 

Rocket Screen

I ride a Rocket Touring with a screen from standard, it is great until I reach around 70mph when my head seems to get buffeted from all angles ! A mate of mine fitted a screen to his Rocket Classic and experienced the same problem.
The Good news is he has fitted a "Laminar Lip to the top of the screen (Available on E-Bay) and this has completely cured it. Just added one to my Birthday present list !
