Bravo! The bike turned out great! Su must be well pleased. But you'll have to start a new project now or what are we to follow? It's like when you turn the last page of a novel you've loved reading and are so sad that it has reached its conclusion. But when that novel is part of a series, it's not so bad because you can start the next book. So.......what's the next in the series, @darkman?!
Thanks Sandi, it took two years to find this project and it only happened because the initial project was so cheap and we had a lot of the parts already, a good few years ago you could buy a project and fully restore it with a small profit at the end but those days have gone and we do have eight bikes between us so this might be the last one.
Noooooo! Never say never, @darkman! There will be another project bike out there that needs to be saved by you.
A few months work and Su has her own off road styled bike to go with my 66 T120TT, its a 67 TR6C but styled as the 63-66 TR6SC desert bike built for the US market only as was the TT. Thanks for all the nice comments along the way
Outstanding work, as always, and another stupendous product! That mint green is not quite deep enough to match my envy .....................
Outstanding, @darkman! Both you and Su must be well pleased. It would be cool if we could see a photo of her on her "new" bike. I hope she loves riding it! And thanks for taking us along for the ride as you worked on this project.
