    Hi

I was wondering, I have an 02 955i Sprint RS. Will fitting a less restrictive end can mess up the fueling and cause issues?

Really pleased with the bike but it sounds very sanitised.

You will probably need to retune the ecu to suit. Depends on the make of can. If you look on tuneecu site there are various maps available to self fit.

I understand are tuned slip-ons from suppliers such as Remus that are bike specific. Shouldn't have to retune your bike.
I was considering the Remus for my new-to-me 2015 TT SE.
I have a friend who installed the Remus on his K16. Sounds pretty awesome.

    Thanks, David.

It is just a slip on, a second hand micron. Fitted it last Friday. Hopefully heading out on Friday evening depending on commitments. Hopefully it'll sound a bit nicer.

    Cheers

Let me know if you have any timing issues. Like back-fires.

I will, thank you. I'm not a mechanical genius so any input would be very welcome.

Bike should adapt to the changes itself or you can do the three 12 minute starts no throttle just let it idle till the fan kicks in. I usually do two rotations then go for a spin never failed me yet.

    Hi Joe

Great tip. It'll be close to me today so I can give this a go.

    Cheers!
