I think the R has lower bars than the standard TT1200, if so the bar height is a simple fix, just fit the standard bikes clip ons (assuming the fork stanchion diameter is the same).

I just need Blade Triumph in Swindon to pull their finger out now. From telephone problems meaning 3 hours to get through to constantly chasing.
I didnt mention earlier that when I went for the test ride the person who was due to see me was in London and no one was aware. Following the test ride the person in the shop said Triumph will be in touch with me no conversation about the purchase nada. But for chasing god knows where I would be.
On the other hand Triumph in Cheltenham couldnt be better they answered straight away and reported my concerns to an area manager who got hold of them in Swindon.
Once again I’m sat here wondering what an earth is going on.Still aint agreed a deal very odd.

Edit finally managed to seal the deal. With a wee bit more discount for the troubles. Hopefully all will run smoothly from now on.

The clip ons on the faired version are a couple of inches lower but blimey does it make a difference and stretch you out. My old R6 was like a Goldwing compared to the faired TR.

Ah right, it’s lower bars on the faired version, you’ll have to fit vari bars or similar to get more height on this one then, I was going to do so on mine, but instead I bought a Fireblade, now the bars on my TT1200 feel like ape hangers in comparison:)

The power of the R model would get me in trouble, but do love the suspension.

The R un faired is perfectly fine. Still puts a bit of pressure between your thumb and first finger but all good, fuel consumption to bloody good as well.
Power wise it is a pleasure to ride without being ott.
