White collar crime in the UK always seems to be treated with kid gloves. When do you ever see a crooked company director getting serious jail time?
I do wonder if it's the judiciary keeping the "educated" or "upper class" away from the unwashed where they would certainly get a rude awakening.
To right.!! If you didn't pay your bills you'd be out and in court for example. This man is the lowest of the low.
I think part of the reason these people don't get longer sentences is because our prisons are bursting at the seams. The justice system would rather stick dangerous scumbags inside than those that aren't actually gonna rape and pillage. They still carry a criminal record for the rest of their lives, which can cause all sorts of issues. Who would you rather have taken off the streets, a psychopathic mass murderer or a bloke who fiddles the accounts?
Actually 95% of psychopaths walk amongst us and never hurt a fly, psychopathy is the "thing" that allows surgeons to cut into people's flesh, dentists to drill into teeth etc...we couldn't all do that kind of work that you need a certain level of psycopathy to carry out...takes all sorts
You have interesting friends Hmm, if you say so. Makes me even more worried about going to the dentist now.
Well yeah of course when you put it like that. But the UK has plenty of suitable sites where low dangerous prisoners could be held. So we could easily lock this scum inside.
Yes big yes I remember coming around a blind corner coming on a tractor pulling a land-rover out of a big house drive. No warning nothing luckily I slid under the rope, then was ingnored by a tweedy type I reported the full incident to the local sarge but never heard any more apart from the tweedy guy was ( I was told) a magistrate any way that was 1967 so things haven’t changed have they?
Yup, and that all costs money, which this government is reluctant to spend on the penal system. It's been an issue for years.
