    Right nice is that.
I wondered why stuff was taking so long to get to you by post so I looked up Powell River BC. Blimey. :)

Actually our mail and freight is usually over night, once it gets to Vancouver. I buy a lot of parts on e-bay and most of them come from India or China, so they end up in a container. Recently we had a container ship lose a bunch of containers in a storm off the coast of BC, so the p-clamps could be at the bottom of the Pacific.

It's been awhile since I have done much work on the bike, the weather has been so nice, have been doing some much needed yard work. The oil tank and side cover are away at the painters. The exhaust is on and I am working on building a wiring harness, so when I get my oil tank back I will install the battery box and finish the wiring, I am still working on the gas tank, I bought a new raw steel tank from India, we'll see how that goes. The tank looks fine, just needed some filler and high build primer. I will take it to the painter when it's ready. I didn't take a picture, just imagine a flat grey tank, not much to see.

Waiting on the painter, so working on some of my other bikes (not Triumphs) will post again when the painting is finished.

Still waiting for tanks from painter so I decided to install an anti wet sumping valve on the tr6ss, I wouldn't use a tap without some way to prevent starting the engine with the valve closed so have opted for the valve shown in the pictures, it can be used with coils or magneto, I already have one installed on my BSA Spitfire, I know the Triumphs aren't as bad as BSA for wet sumping but I like not having to worry about it. I will install the same valve on the street tracker when I get my oil tank back.

Finally got the tanks and side cover back from the painter, I installed the anti-wet sumping valve with cut out switch, finished off the wiring, mounted the seat, (I had all the brackets made, just needed the gas tank on the bike to get it positioned correctly) and installed the battery. The painter says to wait and let the paint cure before masking the orange ovals on the sides, so the bike sits for another while. I will post pictures of the completed bike when I get the gas tank painted.
