Four for me; got three letters (wrong places) first guess, last four in the correct places second guess and then yet another wrong first letter for third guess and FINALLY the correct first letter on guess number four!!
Got one letter first line , but wrong place first go , two letters second time, one right ! Third line three ! First and last correct , second last wrong place !! Managed a rethink and got it !!
A tricky four. Mrs O still at it and stuck on line four….took a bit of head scratching this morning, not a well used word in our house.. And a gender neutral word I would say….but my wife will tell me which sex she thinks it is later this afternoon once she has completed it….yawn…

Like DCS900 you were fortunate in getting letters in the right place at an early stage. It would be interesting to find out which is the most advantageous, number of correct letters or letters in their right place.
I think it depends… because I got the starting letter, and had discounted some other common letters, I felt quite confident and guessed on the second word rather than use an elimination word
Whilst the ignore function works for one’s self it doesn’t prevent others inadvertently stumbling upon it. Or have I got this wrong?
