I'm new to the forum, but have two questions. 1 - is there a way to set the Odometer to appear in all the styles so its easy to see how many miles are on the bike? Right now, the odometer seems to only be visible in one screen style. 2 - the tire pressure monitors are a pain in my ass! The front has not worked since I got the bike, has anyone else had issues? I ride a lot of dirt, so a lot of times, I run 36 rear, 32 front which throws a low tire pressure warning. THis keeps me check the tire pressure monitoring tray, clearing the warning, and repeating often. It ultimately messes with my riding confidence and I am constantly wondering if something is wrong. Is there a way to adjust the tire pressure limits within the different riding modes so that I can run lower pressures without it throwing a code? I would LOVE to click the off-road or off-road pro and have that setting know throw a warning unless either tire is less than 30 psi.
Hi and Welcome. I don't have a TPMS on my bike so I can't help with that question. As to the odometer, it is true that it is only visible when the 'service' screen is active. I stumbled over this as well, but I eventually forgot about it. Not that that helps much, but at least you don't need to wonder if you're missing some specific setting.
I have the tiger 900 gt pro and I have the same complaints as you I have the tpms warning about low pressure when the rear was at 43 psi... because 5 min befoere it was about 49psi from riding on the highway plus .... I love to get a decent tachometer, the RPMs are impossible to see in the cute graphics we got. have you seen videos of the new tiger 1200 ? they went back to a round clock for the RPM sorry, I have no suggestions
Thanks for the response. It kind of makes you wonder why the basics aren't displayed on all the styles, fuel level, temperature, odometer seem to be pretty basic.
I get myRally Pro on 1st March. I’m hoping I can set the TFT screen to show trip mileage as I’ve never had a bike with a reliable tank gauge so do use the trip.
@Glenn2926 There are two trip meters and you also get fuel consumption and distance remaining. That is a really important feature, I agree. Though the fuel gauge on the Tiger seems pretty good; it changes steadily rather than in odd jumps, and seems to correspond to the distance remaining read out as well as the amount of fuel that I put in the tank when I fill it up.
I bet you will love it! I am so happy with my upgrade. There is a lot of adjustability in the screen options, so you should not have a problem getting it set up that way.
I'm not sure what your options are, but with the tach, I changed the style so that I can have both that and the tach visible while I ride. This is what my TFT looks like. It is possible to really get a view of the RPMs while you ride.
