Doesn't it have to be above £100?
I always buy large electrical items like TVs etc that way to ensure my guarantee is honoured.

I took the opportunity today to ride exclusively in temperatures above 5 degrees Celsius (41 F) to the office and back home for my 130 km (80.7 mi) total commute. ;)
This means I have already ridden my first 500 km (310,7 mi) of 2022.

The good news is that I rode my T595 for the first time in 5+ years today, having completed lots of work to get her back on the road and she still rides like a dream.

The not so good news is that the journey was to get a fresh MOT and she failed. :( The top yoke conversion and Renthal 758 combo allows the switch gear to gently nudge the fairing on full lock and that’s a fail. Who knew!

Spacers on the turn stops? Or, file the fairing a bit?

Only 3 for our southern group ride today, so we did a favoured forest/coastal loop with a lunch stop for fish n chips. I took a detour on the way home for a refreshment and saw our dealer service manager on a rider safety poster  Sorry guys, was a spectacular day :sun:

Managed to get a 100mm M8 bolt in the rear on the Tiger Sport.
So new Pirelli Angel GT2 today. Could have done without that.:(

Well, had yet another "f**k it" moment and took her out for a quick errand despite the cold. If I go 2 days without riding the bike seems to call me from outside like a lonely pet. So I jumped on and headed over to work to grab some documents then slipped into "the usual" again on the way back to get out of the cold for another quick refreshing sparkling mineral water with organic lemon wedge and spring water ice, and got the news that FrankenHarley guy passed away suddenly a few days ago. Left the bar, went home a couple miles away, and just checked out not long after getting settled in. It was the very day I took that previous shot of our bikes parked together outside. I remember watching him start her up, warm her up, and blaze on down the road all aped-out and looking the part. He had maybe an hour or so left to live. As it turns out supposedly he was only 60, but he looked closer to 80(he chain smoked hand-rolled cigs). A career long hauler, he was a biker's biker who lived the hard biker life.

The Harley dude who championed Triumphs. I'll miss our conversations.

Took the bits I wanted off the Street Scrambler after it getting it back from the dealer. The bike has been written off by the insurer and I got, more or less, what I wanted for it and they also agreed I could keep the bits and pieces I'd added since buying it, plus the optional parts of the "Scrambler Kit". Mixed emotions seeing it sat there in the garage in such a state and knowing it's fate but time to put it behind me and move on. A new one is reserved and waiting at the dealer so it's new bike time again!:grinning:
