The snow is coming down outside and I'll not be getting the car out today, let alone the bike. So thoughts turn to what's next on the biking calendar. Haven't decided whether to go yet but might combine it with other things in London and make a weekend of it. Anyone else thinking of visiting the show this year?

We used to go to the Road Race & Superbike Show, usually at Ally Pally, years ago in the big smoke which was always in Febuary. We also went to "The Motorcycle Show", which now lives at the NEC in November, which was held at Olympia and Earls Court on a couple of occasions. I remember Olympia was a nightmare to get to and park and was a bit of a shed. I wouldn't even consider it these days with the traffic, congestion and LEZ charges etc, just not worth the hassle.

I might go this year, haven't been to a show in ages. I live just outside London and it's only a short drive to a tube station, so relatively easy for me. More I think about it, have the wife drop me off at the station, get a big fry up for breakfast, wander round until midday, then get pissed as well. Last one could be a bit expensive at London prices.

I wish I had more money. Some nice stuff in the auction, an actual TT raced bike. Wouldn't that be nice all polished up

Nope. I won’t be going. Did the NEC in December, can’t see much has changed in the motorcycle space since then. Enjoy.

Absolutely - ticket booked already. New bikes, kit & a day out in dismal February thinking about all that lovely weather & longer days just round the corner…. Heaven

We’re perhaps not going after all. Other half’s son’s 21st the week before so she’s off to Edinburgh.
