I'm talking the 2020 model onwards with the single sided swingarm. I can see a tow bar for the older models, but nothing for the newer one, so wondering if the new design makes it impossible?

    Thanks.

Anything is possible to a good to engineering shop.
Would imagine replacing number plate position on swingarm to a normal position, below rear end somewhere and maybe using that to position one of the positions needed for towbar.
But realise still many guys out there think WHY. ;)

Tez, the last time I was in South Shields I lost count of the number of speed bumps and that's without a trailer on the back:)

Sad, but kind of understandable. Give him my regards, please, when next you speak to him.

That's very true David I believe the council can apply no doubt for lots of extra money from the pot if its because of so called road safety and pretty sure fair bit is diverted off and used elsewhere, ;)
Obviously if I'm hitching up my trailer I'm heading out of shields and heading else where for a good weekend, if speed humps are encountered then it's no big deal don't feel em really, well probably the beer in the trailer does, but I allow it to settle while I pitch my tent.:p:cool: Roll on better times and the sun shining :cool:

Welcome to the family. I am sure someone is there as we speak designing one to fit. Like the peeps said ask around. And yes Dilligaf is sorely missed. He was a great all rounder and nice guy.
    Joe.

Tow bars for cars newer than 1998 (IIRC) have to be type approved which means you can't, legally, just make one or adapt one to fit. Also some cars are specifically excluded from towing duties by the manufacturers. Doing so could mean you're in the shite if you're involved in accident, you know what insurance companies are like. No idea if bikes come under the same rule but if they don't, I'd make one.
I made a rear cycle rack to fit a Ford Escort years ago and also made a few bike luggage racks. I'm part way through making another one for the Street Scrambler in fact.
