Passed my test 8 days ago , a bit later in life at 52, on day of passing test picked up a 2018 T120 Bonneville Black (Total Triumph - Wellington ) Any excuse now to go out on it . Completed 3 local trips of c 65 miles each with friends , one has. Tiger 1050 sport and the other a Ducati Multistrada.

    Absolutely loving the bike
Pleasantly surprised as out of the 3 bikes , my BHP is considerably less, but keeps up well
I am already starting to look at MODS ( I know I should wait 6 months)
next purchase will be X pipe , and I’m deciding whether I should have a small black fly screen.

    thought I’d say hi

Hi. welcome to the forum and world of biking. I'm a bit lost or slow or both but why should you wait 6 months before customising your bike ?

Welcome to the family. Do hit the upload a file button bottom right corner and show the inmates your new Steed. When you stop playing and grinning of course.

First mods I made were a Dart flyscreen and adjustable, foldable levers. Both were well worth the effort and improved the ride and comfort.. Happy days on your bike, perhaps I'm biased, but the T120 in black is the ultimate ride!

6 weeks into ownership . I wasnt going to ride in the winter much or wet conditions , that’s gone out the window . Have completed c400 miles. Installed Tecbikeparts X pipe ( sounds better even with standard pipes). Today will see the addition of Tecbikeparts fuel booster plug , hoping to smooth out low gear / low revs snatchiness.

What I have noticed is the tram lining and a bit of a wobble when on white line road markings . Is the first fix changing from Pirelli’s to say Avon Spirits , or is it updating the suspension ?

Hi JDMSW and welcome to the forum  looking forward to seeing some ride pix. Some guys have mentioned tram lining on the T120 new tyres, best to ensure correct pressures cold.

tyre pressure most likely but those pirelli's are not the most convincing in poor conditions

Change the tyres. It depends how you ride of course, and some people are happy with the stock Pirelli's, but with 40+ years experience I know those tyres are unacceptable and bordering on dangerous in the wet.
After that you can think about altering the suspension.
