I'm ready to start replacing the plastics, but i'm struggling to decide on which carbon to fit. Love the look of the satin matte stuff, but im fitting a carbon Scorpion can after the first service and that is a high gloss finish. Trouble is, i have a bit of OCD going on so stuff matching (as in the same weave pattern and finish) is important to the finished look of the bike, so i'm in a quandary. Buy the gloss finish (which looks great i know) or the matte? (which looks great in the photo's, but i'm wary of it actually not looking like real carbon) What have you good people fitted, and what do you reckon to it? ATB Bob
I got quite a bit of the glossy stuff, I like it because if you do get a little mark in it you can polish it out without too much effort.
Yeah i'm leaning toward the glossy stuff as i think it'd be easier to spray up glossy in the event of rubbing (knees on the tank lowers) as opposed to dulling up when it gets shiny due to the same rubbing. (That make sense?) Bob
