Relocating Regulator

    Hello,
    Thinking of relocating the regulator to clean up the front of the bike a bit. Is there any concern about blocking air to the oil cooler? Or anything else that might be an issue before I do this? 2009 T100. Thanks!

    Just remind the regulator needs to be vented, otherwise it may fail.

    It’ll need to be in the airflow so you can’t really hide it away, if that was your intention.

    That's why I asked about this. If it's mounted in the horn area, it will certainly get less airflow. Not a big deal to move this, so given the possible problems, I'll probably look for other winter projects!

    I relocated mine to the horn location. Been there for a good few years now. Never a problem.

    I wouldn't move it ,needs to be cool depends where you live I guess gets up to 35 to 40deg c here in the summer
