    Bike is a 2005 model Triumph Speed Triple 1050.

    So it started like this:

    Cutout>Trouble starting> 1 mile later bad jolting>Cutout>Won't start>Left overnight started OK but long turnover to fire up.

    AT the moment this is what's been done but it's still a common occurrence;

    1) New battery (thought it was an issue as had to bump twice/ bad cell causing power drain?)
    1 mile ride: Severe Jolting>Cuts out>Won't start>Starts fine after 5-10 minutes after being left.

    2) Checking over wiring loom as headlights would cutout at certain bar angles. (few splits repaired.)
    35 minutes ride: Moderate Jolting>Cuts out>Won't start>Starts fine after 5-10 minutes after being left.

    3) Replaced fuel pump.
    4-5 hours ride: Slightest jolt>Sudden loss of power>Bike idled for 2 minutes, cutout>Won't start>Left for 5-10 minutes, starts fine>3 miles later>cutout>Won't start>Starts fine after 5-10 minutes after being left.

    I do have some videos showing what happens on my YouTube, but I won't link it unless told it's OK. The next plan is to disable the alarm system and see if that's causing the fault, but open to any suggestions/ advice?!

    Sounds like you still have an electrical problem somewhere. Check all your wiring and clean connectors with aerosol "Contact" spray.

    That certainly sounds like a good plan!

    Thanks! Wasn't 100% so didn't want my first post to cause any grief! I'll post up the vids in order tonight.

    It sounds to me like it could be intermittent fuel supply - causes could be blocked fuel filter or failing fuel pump.

    Latest video is with a brand new pump, so not sure if that would of gone back in the space of 250* miles give or take. I've put it in the workshop and did mention the fuel filter at the very first time it went in, but was told it's very unlikely they normally last the bikes lifetime etc etc. I did make a thing about it on the second and was told they had checked it and it was fine.

    Found a problem, electric connectors on the fuel pump was corroded and stretched. So I think when going over bumps etc it was losing power and causing the issues. Then the struggling start after due to fuel starvation?
