Interesting ! Am trying to get cover here in Ireland with really 5 main players. Couple of online attempts and both times they didn’t have the bike listed. Another company Principle insurance said their computer was down - said they’d call back - and of course they didn’t - and that’s having waited for 10mins

Interesting thread. Insurance seems to be so subjective and varies so much from person to person. A cheap quote for one does not mean it will be applied to all others, even with similar risk profiles. I will I’ll certainly give you guys a call at my renewal...

I did try Triumph Insure a couple of years ago and they were much more expensive. And seemed to me not interested. My insurance is due the end of this month so i will give it another go and get back to the members.

I’d take that down or edit it joe. There are more personal details on there than a copy of your bank statement mate!

Triumph insurance worked out slightly cheaper than anyone else for me. Thanks for sharing on the forum. One happy customer.

Check that it covers your bike for theft within 1/2 mile of home - loads of them are using this as a cop-out.

Yeah saw a separate thread re this. I challenged the insurer back then as mine falls foul of it.
I asked re washing it or popping to my local shop, got a verbal response only. I just take measures to make sure I can’t get caught out now.

I had a similar conversation over the phone, and so declined the policy despite nearly signing off on it.

When you see such an exclusion does make u wonder how easy it would be to claim period with the company.
