What a result. Found out the size of the thread M14. And it's the same size they use for pressure Hydraulics so went to the shop. Got one off the shelf for 2 euro !!

Yep one of life's little problems that we have to put up with. I've not only got that problem, but I've also exceed my 500 mile limit for first service, so not been able to ride for a week or so. Problems getting the bike booked in due to a clash with a hospital appointment forced date out to the 3rd June... Bah!

Enjoy the new bike. I hope you have booked your first service. I didn't do it when I picked up my bike and I'm still waiting to get mine done. Not been able to ride for two weeks now.

A little over won't harm it. Or just do an oil change. That's the main part of it.

Hi Gary agreed, but I've done 575 and I spoke to the dealer who advised not exceeding 600 which I will be on the limit when I take it in next week. Whilst it is a pain not being able to ride my new bike I'm riding my Kawasaki W800 (sorry guy's it's not a Triumph) loads, so I'm not completely grounded.

Fitted my new Blaze panniers today (had to drop the Arrow exhaust by about half an inch for the bar to fit) so had a wee run up to Glen Clova to try them out, pretty pleased with them, not the biggest panniers in the world, but they do have a zip to almost double the size

Unpacked my new shocks, rang seller, re-packed shocks. Sat the new grab rail on the bike stared at it for while, took the engine number filled out the Data Tag transfer form. Went back and stared at the grab rail again! Will probably go back and stare at it some more later!

Let me know if that doesn't fit. I replaced mine at the last oil change with a magnetic one I got off the evilBay, so I have the original Bonneville bolt sitting all alone inside my toolbox. I believe they're the same size.

Pushed the bike out of the garage so I could paint a couple of central heating radiators, cleaned up the mess, pushed the bike back inside the garage:(
