They are decent casual shoes, a better fit for me than overpriced brands that sponsor sports thugs.

I hope that's just kitchen towel and not a stash of toilet rolls you're hoarding in the garage (top right)? Better leave that to us Brits we're the experts. :)

Just a few rolls of paper towels (translated as kitchen towels?), Col! No hoarding for us. Not anymore anyway. ;):joy:

    Snow
The bike's already filthy so went out in the rain and muck, again!
As a gap in the clouds appeared the "first" snow was visible on the mountains.
At least I'll have 5 months to clean her up... Mountain Snow.jpg

It was raining in the morning but cleared up in the afternoon so decided to take a wee run to Tayport today.
Photo down at Tayport harbour with Broughty ferry in the background (Posh part of Dundee!)

Weather's too miserable for bike riding today, but postman brought new toys to play with. Now have the correct tools (air supply and stapler) to reattach bike seat cover once I've got the padding just right :grinning:

Spotted this on triumph rat about nav for the new 1200 st rs:
"Hey guys. Hope you’re doing well. Just wanted to let you know that today I went to my dealership for the bike software update (S3 1200 RS 2022). And now my Navigation system works perfectly (w/my triumph app version 1.1.3). I use it with an iPhone 12 mini. I can see the « turn by turn » on my bike’s screen and hear the prompts in my helmet (w/pactalk slim). It stops the music then resumes it after the prompt. That’s awesome. Two possible vews : normal or full screen. Thank you Tampa Triumph."

    Hopefully that’ll help you guys?

I'm a slow learner, finally, after 2000kms, I felt as confident on the Tiger as I did on my previous bike - Vstrom 650. Yesterday I did ride a known twisty road and felt at home with the bike, the bike was turning beautifully, just where I wanted it, and providing nice clear feedback through the handlebars.

    also ...

Today I got the windscreen from calsci.com, I couldn't wait to get away from meetings to install it and do a test ride, results are 100% positive!
This was just a short ride with a max speed of about 100km/h
    • There is no wind noise
    • I can hear the motorcycle, engine, tires
    • The wind is passing about 1 inch above my head.
    • We'll see during hot weather, today I'm very happy
    • I fear it would look a bit dorky but it doesn't

I took the Tiger into the dealers today to get a new set of tyres. That is the second set this season. I put a set of Angel GT II on earlier this year and with in a couple of months got a puncture; a bloody great nail right in the middle of the tyre. I manged to find a guy who was prepared to repair it so all was good in the world, one tyre saved.
Oh no, I went out for a ride on Sunday and would you believe it, I picked up anoher nail it went in about 6" from the first one.
Decided that maybe the Angel's are a bit soft so put a set of Pilot 4's on.
Time will tell if they are ok :)
The total price fitted was £295 which I thought was a reasonable price.
Is anbody else running Pilot 4's; what do you think about them.

Sorry to read about your puncture, Wessa. :( Those things do seem to come in bunches. Same thing happened to me with my Mustang not that long ago but fortunately each time the tire could be repaired. Hope you like the Pilot 4's. The does seem like a very fair price. Let us know what you think of them please!

You mean Michelin Road Pilots? My Speedy came with them on and I replaced them with another set! Only had one slide in about 6500 miles and my mate following slid in the same place so not the tyres fault.
The rear has done over 5000 miles and still good. When they do wear they tramline a bit but apart from that can't fault them.
