Hi everyone, this is the first forum I have ever joined. I just purchased my first motorcycle, a 2019 Street Twin and I absolutely love it. I figured I would get registered here so I have a place to ask questions which I'm sure I'll have as I become familiar with the bike.
Welcome to the madhouse you should fit right in. To keep the inmates happy we will need photos of your bike. Tucker
Hi bud! Loads of stuff on here so get asking! ps, you have to upload a pic as otherwise @Sandi T won’t believe you have a bike!
MPTriumph Welcome to the family. Yes do hit the upload a file button bottom right corner and show of the steed to the inmates here in the asylum. You will indeed fit right in here. And you have found a great family here willing to help and laugh and joke and talk any waffle with all. Joe.
Greetings and welcome to the forum, @MPTriumph. And you've not only become a member of the Triumph Forum family but also the Triumph family and the entire biker family! It's a grand hobby, lifestyle, community, and in the case of some of us, addiction. As @Ducatitotriumph suggested, I might not quite believe that you have a bike unless we see pictures of your ride. But mostly the motorcycle addict in me just likes to see photos of bikes. A few of your thoughts on the bike and on your adventures as a new rider are always welcome, too! And I'm quite certain I'm not the only one on here that feels similarly. Hope you enjoy the forum!
Hey all, thanks for the very warm welcome! I have included 2 of my favorite rides in the pictures attached. One is a bit more stubborn than the other...you decide which is the stubborn one! Lol!!!
I love the checkerboard trim on the bike and helmet. Ok, let's hear some details about "the stubborn one" please! He (or she?) seems perfectly content around the Triumph.
Her name is Mya Lisa and she's actually not stubborn at all but she has more brains than a motorcycle! Lol.. She is my cutting horse and we compete (or should I say used to compete) all over Northern California until Covid came along. Who knows when we will be able of show again. Sandi T, I noticed that you live in Tucson. My dad lives there...in the Catalina area.
Thanks for the info on your horse. How cool that you and she do cutting competitions! Hopefully you'll be able to resume those competitions relatively soon. I'd love to see a photo of the two of you in action if you'd be willing to share here. I grew up showing a little Arab mare in small local shows--halter, equitation, Western and English pleasure, and the like. No horses these days, though, I'm sorry to say. Yes, I live in Tucson. What a small world that your dad lives in the Catalina area! Our Sunday motorcycle group ride went through Catalina just this morning as a matter of fact on our way up past Oracle en route to Mi Pueblito in Mammoth for lunch. The Sunnyside Up Cafe right in Catalina is another of our faves though we've not been there much lately due to Covid and that restaurant's' lack of outdoor seating. Does your dad ever go there?
I believe that's where we go everytime I visit. Is it a small place right along Oracle? Inside has kind of western country theme? And it's not too far from a main road that leads to the main interstate, 8 I believe?
Yes, MP, it is a relatively small place right along Oracle Road (the east side) smack in the middle of the town of Catalina. Here's a Google Map showing where the Sunnyside Up Cafe is relative to Tucson, Phoenix, and Interstates 10 and 8. I guess you could say that the cafe has sort of a western country theme. But it's really more of a country chickens theme! Does this look like the place??
