Hello, I am from the south of France, Aix en Provence exactly. I have owned a Triumph Truxton RS for a short while. I thought it was a very nice looking bike and I like the way it handled but it was a bit too firm for me (I am only 62 kg) and the bars were also a bit too low for me. So I sold it and bought a Speed Triple 1200 RS (at first I thought the Truxton was better to keep my licence but it also lacks the madness of the Speed Triple. Too bad for my licence I prefer the Speed ). I am enjoying it a lot and, although it is also a bit firm and the bars are not so high, it is better for me. Those are the first Triumph I own but being not so young anymore I had many bikes ! From the Kawasaki 500 H1, Kawasaki 900 Z to the last one (before the Triumph) a Yamaha FZ1 (and a Honda CRF 250 L at the same time actually). Feel free to contact me when you are in the south of France, if I am available I can make a ride with you (I am available quite often as I am retired )
Hi @passeparici Welcome to the forum. Great to hear that you have tried out loads of amazing bikes. Be sure to post us some pictures of the Speed Triple with some suitably scenic views. It would be great to meet up with our members wherever they are - I’m assuming this is the reason for your forum name? Good luck avoiding those pesky speed cameras!
Passeparci Welcome to the family. Beautiful steed thanks for sharing. Some terrific scenery there aswel. Joe.
Hi from Austria! Thanks for your invitation for a joint trip. Because of the Corona crisis, I had to cancel a planned tour with my wife to the south of France (including Monaco) 2 times. In the spring of 2022 we want to try again and then finally come to "your" area.
