Anyone know of a manufacturer doing a really sturdy rear rack for the 1200? I'm using www.perunmoto.com stuff on other bikes. Truly excellent. -Would like to find something tough for the scrambler too.
I've been looking for the same.. Almost nothing available for the scrambler 1200.. I found this from Hepco & Becker but pretty sure its not what you are looking for. I like it for going along with the look of the scrambler.. https://www.motomachines.com/hepco-becker-rear-rack-triumph-scrambler-1200
talk to Ricardo at Akurat out of Costa Rica, his stuff looks pretty robust and he's reasonably priced. I'm waiting on a set of pannier racks from him right now. You will have to look him up through Facebook though,
That looks neat but it's an awful lot of money for a bit of bent tubing IMO. Why not have a go at making one! I'm no fabrication expert but, on a slightly smaller scale I made a rack for my Street Scrambler, primarily because I couldn't find exactly what I wanted off the shelf. Scaling up with bigger tubing wouldn't be difficult and would, in fact, be easier to weld.
