Just got a 2006 America; been telling myself I was too old and sane for another bike, but the plague sapped my will. It's about 50 years since my first, a Bonneville, so it needed to be Triumph and one appeared almost as if by magic.

Greetings and welcome to the forum, lessha! Welcome back to the world of Triumph. Looks like there was at least one silver lining for you of "the plague". It is funny how things work out sometimes. I'd love to hear the story of how your appeared by magic! And I'd love to see a photo or two if it as well.

The two wheeled fire in your soul never leaves you . Nor does that special effect of a new motorcycle. So what if you only take it out a few times a year , having it is the difference ! Welcome and enjoy .

Well, the magic was there--my daughter's boyfriend was looking for a bike, and I figured he should go Triumph. I went looking for a picture on the intertubes, and the first thing I found was an '06 America with 2,100 miles, for sale about 5 miles from me. Took it as fate, made a call, got it the next day.

Excellent, lessha! Beautiful bike and it seems it was meant to be. I don't believe in coincidence. ;):) Thanks for sharing the photo.
