Maxton shocks took a good few weeks but definitely improve the rear end.
Titanium shock mount bolts from race bolt uk, load spreading washers from eBay.
Spent ages obsessing over bar end mirrors but settled on the Oberon ones, superb quality.
    Hepworth and Becker rack.
Tec parts sump guard, I had it powder coated black as they never seem to have black ones.
De cat performed by Laguna triumph.
All around I love the bike, first track day on Thursday with the Bike Shed, can’t wait,

Guess I lucked out. I had no problem scoring one back in DEC.

Why the Thruxton cans? Are they lighter or louder? Free-flowing? They do look good.

I love the look of the brushed cans, and i paid £52.50 including postage for the pair, brand new off of Ebay, crazy cheap!!
I am glad i stuck with the standard cans as Brands recorded my db lebel at 98, which is close enough to the 102 limit.

The Bike shed track day at Brands was great fun, lots of older bikes and retros, I can thoroughly recommend them, a more gentlemanly track day experience.
Lots of rookies which meant that the faster groups had very few in so I could really concentrate on my riding.
Speed twin handled it very well, was constantly scraping my boot around clearways. And full size photo to follow ....

Like the bar end mirrors. What brand are they? I'd probably use them back to front from what you have so they don't get in the way when lane filtering.

The mirrors are made by Oberon in the UK, I just bought a second one to match, I used the same m8 load pressure washers as on the shocks on the bar ends to tidy them up and they look awesome, absolute bargain at £2.50 or so each.

Just to give you the heads up, I made up a couple of small shims/inserts to place in the opening at the end of the bars, the mirrors attach via a grub screw locking them in place, because I fitted the mirrors downward they conflicted with the gap in the bar, any other orientation and that will not be necessary, hopefully that makes sense!

I have used that type before, i just prefer to ride with my hands as wide on the bars as possible and found that they cut into the edge of them, the type i have means that i can rotate the bracket to the bottom and not have that problem.
