Hi there...as per the title really. If I leave the bike on idle for say 10 minutes or so, it just suddenly turns itself off. It doesn’t fade, more like a sudden electrical cut-off, like it’s some kind of environmental cut-off for prolonged stationary use? Any thoughts?
Does it happen when the fans kick in? If so, possible short somewhere i'd think? Try and unplug them/it? Obviously switch it off when just in the red! Also, is it ok when riding?
Many thanks for your thoughts. I’ve not ridden it anywhere, yet...though planning to take it for MOT next week. Got me feeling anxious it could cut out at speed now...will definitely check the fan scenario you suggest. I hadn’t noticed the fan coming on except after I turn the engine off. To be fair though I haven’t seen the temp beyond normal either. Will look into it a little further. Many thanks again.
