My son and I are doing a two month trip on our Scramblers to the four corners of the U.S. and I just picked up some panniers over at Happy Trails that I would like to mount a USB charging strip in to charge camera batteries, power banks, Sena etc. The largest I have found so far is a six port 96W strip. My phone mount will also have a USB connection separately at the battery.

My question is: Does this pose any potential problems for the stator or other electrical system components?

Hard wire via an ignition controlled relay fused supply, and low current ancillaries should cause no problem.
