T595 Valve Cam Cover Torque 10nm Or 25nm?

    Hi, any thoughts?

    Haynes says: 10Nm

    Triumph Service Manual says: 15 Nm for the short bolts and 25Nm for the 2 longer bolts.

    Quite a difference!

    Its only 6mm thread defo not 25Nm. I would chamge the dowty washers and 10Nm. Most important to change as they compress and put the pressure on the seal, not the bolt.

    Top class information, thanks very much...100% telling me that the Service Manual is VERY much out and risking cam caps everywhere!
