Hi everyone I have a problem which is I have just got my always wanted speed triple but have just bin diagnosed with a touch of cancer and under treatment am so weak I keep dropping it and it has a very expensive to repair 8 Ball paint job and would like to stop damaging it. I can't find any body who does crash bars for this bike it's 2013 can anyone help. If any body out there are metal fabricators maybe someone could make them for me. By the way sorry about the photos of the dog I can't seem to get rid of them. The idea was to show you the paint job on the bike and my predicament.
Also look who we ran into in Central America's Costa Rica doing the long way up. That's my nephew and his girl. They were really friendly chatted for ages well impressed with their electric Harleys. These guys from Russia make them. Possibly look into some of the longer bobbins maybe. I have R&G sliders on mine which stand out enough for a simple drop. I haven’t had to test them yet thankfully.
If you’re too weak from your treatment to hold it up, I’d suggest it might be too much bike to hold onto period. Very sorry to hear of your cancer diagnosis and hope you make a speedy recovery!!

Thanks so much for the information,I have to ride it it's all ido I can't give up and I'm not falling of it just it goes over now and again normally as I don't know the bike and am fiddling with something that I'm not sure about and not concentrating and before I know it I let it go to one side too far and can't get it back. Ive ridden since I was 16 and am 55 and get withdrawals if I don't ride and I just love this bike and have always wanted one.
By the way the ad says that for a 2016 mines a 2013 but the securing bo;to on the frame look like there in the same place not sure about those bottom one not sure what they go into if they do it has a strengthening bar right at the bottom joining both side wha do you think cheers Mal

Yes i had the r&g sliders on my street triple and they worked well i got away with just the alternator casing and the heater cowling damaged and the bike took quite a tumble and slide. This time i am going to get the r&g carbon covers as well.
