Can’t harm I suppose. Obviously, I wouldn’t stick a set of grips on it! Give it a wd and a bit of time to soak.

Don't know if I welcomed you or not but here it is now. Your Ohlin's have a rebuild kit from Ohlin's or they rebuild them for you. Especially if you are doing track days you need to know they are right.

Yes it will help a little. But does square the tyres of a bit. But perhaps the wd will soften the shock of a bit or take the tension of the pre load.

if you take out the screw in the middle there are 2 springs with ball bearings which engage in detents on the gold and black adjuster wheels. clean and grease them and put a dash of oil on the adjuster shaft where it goes in to the shock. did it to mine and its like butter now :)

Hi so take springs out? Are they under any pressure so they will ping out ? And easy to put back in ?

hi. yes, once the centre screw on the adjuster wheel is out gently lift off the wheel. it will probably be quite tight. the ball bearings sit on top of the springs which are in holes in the shock body. the springs on mine were a bit gunged and needed pulling out. clean and grease it all and refit.

just thinking... my shock was out the bike and on its side. be careful if you take the adjuster wheels off with the shock on the bike as the ball bearings will probably drop out. the springs shouldn't come out if you release the adjuster slowly. put grease on the ball bearing to hold it on reassembly ;)
