when i picked up my Rocket this week i noticed the exhaust had a mark on it, i mentioned it to them and they will replace at the first service,

since then I've came across another couple of faults, the number plate light has broken had to stick some gorilla tape on it
    20210304_142311.jpg
Also i am stuck in Road mode, I've tried changing it but it doesn't want too , wonder if I'll come across anything else before the first service

Pre-warn them of the errors before your visit as (most likely) the parts won't be in stock when you tell them on the service!
It'll save you another visit (potentially)!!!

IIRC the bike will only release the other riding modes after a certain mileage threshold has been reached, or first service...
Road mode would be the 'safer' mode for the bike to be in, the others may cause more stress/load on the engine which may not be good while it is being run in

That's pretty annoying for such an expensive machine... I hope you get it sorted.

I thought it might be that, but there is no mention about that in the manual, also when i phoned the dealer about it he said they would look at it at the first service, but saying that i got the impression he didn't have a clue!

yeah, i couldn't even change into Rain mode, lucky for me it was a nice day, but to be honest I'd rather it didn't have any riding modes and I'd just let my right hand decide the mode!

Hi Dougie, the modes also alter the mapping on the ECU, they also allow you to customise the settings, once run in try them out you will be surprised how the characteristics of the machine alter.

i was out today and i managed to get it into Sport mode, maybe it waits until you have 300 miles on it? although the salesman did say i should be able to change modes from the start. i will play about with the "Rider" mode, but Sport mode seems to be pretty spot on to me
