Hi I have just joined this forum and live in the Warrington, Cheshire area. I have had a number of bikes over the years. Have just picked up my first 1967 Tiger (Bantam) Cub, which has been converted to a classic trials. Needs plenty doing to it, so will be asking lots of silly questions on here, I am sure! Cheers Dan
Cheers to you, Dan! Welcome to the forum. We'd love to see a photo of that Tiger Cub. Hope you enjoy our online community.
Guys Many thanks for the welcome to the forum. I love the international reach of this forum! As you can see from my pics, I have picked up a trials version of a 1967 tiger bantam cub (reg 1969 G plate), which has some work done, needs some love. I have restored older Japanese bikes and owned newer Brit bikes, so now into the Brit classic bike world for the first time! Looking to clean her top to bottom. Sort the rough welded frame. Change over to ali tank and mudguards, and get her running a lot better. Looking to turn into a road regal ‘field/trail bike’. She has a Mikuni carb installed, but proving a bitch to start so clearly needs some attention. I have played with needle settings and other obvious things but will probably be asking those with way more knowledge than me on these set-ups for help!!! All info and advice great fully received. Thanks Dan
Chumley Warner Welcome to the family. And yes you will get loads of help on the builds section. Sweet little machine by the way. Joe.
Hi and welcome, the TOMCC has a specific section for cubs and terriers, if you let them know they can trace the history for you, they have a huge resource for spares and technical help if forum members are unable to sort it for you. Ride safe all
