It's called Castle Menzies just outside Aberfeldy, my wife's maiden name is Menzies so maybe i do have a claim on it!
Enjoy the new steed! Collecting the weekly groceries may be essential shopping, picking up a new bike is ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL shopping.
Dougie Never really been inspired by the looks of the Rocker, but that looks awesome. Very jealous......enjoy it!!! Dan
People mention the rear wheel, and I agree, I do love it. I have the TFC Rocket, which has the blacked out (same as the R) version of the wheel. And one of my first questions to the dealer was how much it'd cost to get it swapped for the GT one. I forget the answer, but ... well, it was expensive enough to make me forget about it!!
Nice bike but as the proud owner of a beautiful T100 Bonneville I'm more jealous of WHERE you get to do your riding. Enjoy that fantastic scenery, guys - that's what motorcycling is all about. In CA we have the weather but there are too many cars, trucks, bikes, cops, and people to have an epic ride without doing some planning. Then by the time you get to the coast or whatever in the summer everyone else has the same idea. Oh well, if that's my biggest problem...
Yes Scotland has the best roads in the UK for bikes, you can have a blast on any bike i must admit i enjoyed the PCH and also a lot of the roads near the Rock Store and up at Alice's restaurant
I'll keep an eye out for you round Blair then Dougie-I bought my Rocket Roadster in 2010, but yours looks the real deal-so much better looking! Traded mine for a Thruxton 1200 in 2016 and now have a Scrambler XC. Maybe see you up the glen one day soon! And you're right we have the best roads -anywhere!
