    Greetings one and all.
I have recently put new discs and pads on my ST1050. However the ABS light now stays on. The only thing I did to the sensor was clean the road dirt off. The sensor ring is the same. Can a slight fluctuation in the thickness of the rotor make a difference? Any suggestions welcomed.

Hi EN, re the ABS issue: it certainly can make a difference if the distance between the ring and the sensor are out of tolerance.

Make sure any/all wheel spacers are correctly installed before you go any further. Also check that the sensor is correctly seated and the wiring is intact.

Issue sorted, apparently there are different thickness shims available. I just used a couple of washers, ABS light out and it works.
