Went for a 6 mile walk round the outskirts of the village, then went to the butchers for a nice ham and pease pudding sarnie.

It's no fun if it hasn't got an engine and a handlebar.

Love the dogs Dougie. What are their names?
We inherited a Collie when the wife's sister emigrated to Canada. Only had her for two years before we had to put her to sleep but loved it.
    Brilliant dogs!

Yeah he's slowed down a fair bit in the last year, usually just take him the one longish walk every day, while Archie needs 3 good walks every day and still wants to play when i get home o_O

Ours - well, actually, the wife's, 'cause I'm a cat person - ("MOSS") at Loch Lomond during our West Highland Way walk last year. Typical of Border Collies, she'd have been delighted to have turned around at the finish and walk all the way back! Her energy belies her 8 years of age and often seems boundless.

It is indeed and the name seemed to have stuck over the years. My Collie loved the mountains in winter.
