A friend of mine asked me helping him to get his first real motorcycle as he just had scooters before, I proposed him making a nice and cheap tailor made bike on a max 1500€ budget!
    This is what came out!
The bike we bought had some small damages due to a rear impact, The subframe was bent and the chassis a bit dented (Just cosmetic fix needed).
The bike just needed a new subframe and updated look nicer look.

Next step was painting wheels and making a new subframe.
Normally I just use thin crap tubes just to make a dummy to get an idea how its gone look once finished, After that I made the frame in SS tube.
    First colour layers was sprayed

As the owner of the bike wanted it to be catalyzed and very silence I bought a cheap used Z1000 muffler as this looks funny and does the job.
The essential ingredient for an old viking making a bike is Tropical, That's the thru muse for inspiration...

The problem I have is my paint box!
Well the box I haven't, Wich mean I can just paint outside the garage at no windy days.....

Doing everything your self you can have pretty good bikes for under 1500€.
I use to be in a challenge once a year with 18 other lunatics, Each one to build a bike for max 1500€, then we make our privet annual meeting somewhere in Spain to show up our creations , drink beer and tell lies during a weekend

Yes like them very much. You are a handy man. Do tell the young Lady she needs some proper boots before taking that beastie out for some wheelies.
